Karen Adair Kelly, RN, BSN, MSI - BC

Karen, a registered professional nurse with over 30 years of experience, has a diverse and unique background in various aspects of nursing. Her experience spans from Medical/Surgical nursing, to Home Care/Hospice, Family Practice, to more recently having worked in a corporate pharmaceutical clinical research setting as a Sr. Program Manager working on Global Clinical Trials.   

With a history of having frequent multiple respiratory illnesses over the past several years, Karen was looking for a more natural and holistic approach to managing her own health care. She began to take diet and exercise more seriously and became very interested in Ayurveda, Yoga and Meditation as she began to understand the benefits of integrating various modalities along with the mind/body connection to achieve optimal health and well-being.  

Having gone through a very stressful period of working full time and being the caregiver of a very ill parent, Karen turned to the Meditation Specialist program to help with managing her stress, and to regain her focus.  Much to Karen’s amazement, she also found that the meditation training had helped to manage her bereavement when her father had passed away.

As a result, Karen’s awareness as to the benefits of having a regular Meditation practice has motivated her to become a Certified Meditation Specialist.  Karen is also currently enrolled in an Integrative Nutrition program to become a certified Health Coach so that she can assist others to achieve their own level of health, vitality and well-being.
