Lori comes to Meditation Therapy with over 30 years experience in the health care arena. Since learning the mind-body connection to health from Duquesne University where she achieved a BSN in 1981 she has made meditation a personal practice as an adjunct to her preventive medicine regime. She has worked in the clinical setting in surgical intensive care, cardiac intensive care, emergency room, cardio-thoracic surgery and cardiac rehab. She achieved a certification in Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy from the Albert Ellis Institute in New York and is a masters candidate in Psychology. Currently she is employed in home health care as an intake nurse and teaching meditation at NYU Medical Center. She is available for individual, group and corporate sessions. Her goal is to help as many people as possible enjoy the benefits of meditation to achieve optimal health.
